The combination of a recent birthday, half term holidays and a chunky book (Liaquat Ahmed's Lords of Finance) on the go mean the in-pile has grown to the top of the armchair in height. Still, that means lots to look forward to, including some well-overdue reads such as the Reinhart and Rogoff volume on crashes, This Time Is Different, not to mention Adam Smith. I decided the time had come to reread Wealth of Nations properly again. As ever, recommendations for additions to the pile are welcome, even when it's this big!
